Strong conversations.Strong technology.Strong presence in Munich.
IFAT 2026 in Munich was the stage for Westeria to present technological innovations and engage in valuable discussions about what truly matters in recycling plants worldwide. The focus was on industry-leading separation quality, precise material distribution, robust conveying solutions, and the latest technology designed to make a real difference in daily plant operation.
Several premieres attracted particular attention: the first-ever exhibited four-fraction windsifter, the completely redesigned standard DiscSpreader, the new AirLift, the CleanTech residual material remover for moving floor bunkers, and a newly introduced UI design developed to significantly reduce downtime of any kind. IFAT 2026 took place from May 4 to May 7, 2026, in Munich.
The most important innovations at a glance
The new AirStar® evolution four-fraction separation
With the AirStar evolution, Westeria is revolutionizing windsifting through outstanding separation quality and user-friendly recipe-based operation. Westeria has now introduced the windsifter as a four-fraction separator featuring the DuoDrum and the new AirLift® module.
DiscSpreader® and DiscSpreader® automove
The new AirLift®
The new AirLift® therefore focuses on exactly what matters in day-to-day plant operation: reliable performance, robust mechanics, and an operating concept that makes every aspect of the machine easy to understand.
Bunkers rethought: CleanTech and a 5-year warranty
This presentation was complemented by a clear promise of product quality: a five-year warranty on all moving floor bunkers. This is more than a side note. Especially in this product area, such a warranty is a direct statement of confidence in design, manufacturing quality, and operational reliability. For operators, integrators, and dealers, Westeria is sending a signal that carries real weight.

Easy to understand – without training
With the new UI design, Westeria introduced a user interface that brings all parameters together in one central program management system. The interface is symbol-based and clearly structured, making it easy to understand quickly, regardless of language.
To support operators during operation, visual troubleshooting instructions are automatically displayed in the event of a fault. In addition, an integrated user manual is built directly into the interface. A multi-level login system separates operator and owner access levels.
