Westeria MultiFeeder, the variable and individually adjustable bin innovation
In 2016 Westeria launched the MultiFeeder as an innovation that perfectly complements the large bins from Westeria with a width of up to 4000 mm and is designed to take up hundreds of m³ of feed material. The new bins have s storage volume of betweeen 10 and 47 m³. Thus, they have been designed for smaller feed amounts and individual requirements.
30th anniversary of Westeria® Fördertechnik
Westeria® on the high seas
30th anniversary of Westeria® Fördertechnik
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Westeria® Fördertechnik GmbH, the two managing directors Kai-Uwe Knapheide and Bernhard Westbrock invited to attend a boat trip with the Santa Monica III on 29. October 2016. More than 110 employees accepted the invitation and enjoyed the trip. It was particularly pleasing that also 8 „Westeria-pensioners“ participated.
Punctually at 1 p.m. two buses started their way from the company premises in Ostbevern to the dock in Hamm. After about an one-hour-journey and the obligatory group photo, the boarding for Santa Monica III started. „Cast-off“ was at 2.15 p.m.
With splendid weather and a very good atmosphere, the guests first enjoyed an excellent cake buffet and later in the evening also an exquisite warm buffet.
Starting from Hamm, the 7-hour-trip went via Bergkamen, Lünen, Datteln, Lüdinghausen and Senden. Around 9.15 in the evening the Münster port was reached.
Exhausted but very satisfied, all travellers were back on solid ground and one or the other group continued spending the evening together.
Westeria® was founded in 1956 as „Westeria® Maschinenfabrik“. The company mainly produced conveyor units for the agricultural sector. Due to numerous innovations, the production figures increased quickly and the product range was expanded by various conveyor systems.
Since 1986 Westeria® has concentrated on producing conveyor plants for the recycling industry. Thus, the company’s new name „Westeria® Fördertechnik“ was chosen.
Today Westeria® has 155 employees at its site in Ostbevern and the company produces plants for recycling and cement industry. Westeria® now is a worldwide market and technology leader in the fields of windsifter and conveyor industry.
